Mixed Match Challenge Season 2 to Be Round Robin, Finals to Take Place During TLC
– WWE has announced that the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge will take place during WWE TLC. The company issued a press release with the previous details of the second season, including the ten teams competing, and added that the tournament will be a round-robin elimination-style tournamentr this year.
Each episode will include two matches and will run thirty minutes, for fourteen episodes in all. An interactive pre-show will begin at 9:50 PM ET.
“We’re excited to partner with WWE to bring back Mixed Match Challenge for a second season and introduce the series to fans in 10 new countries,” said Devi Mahadevia, Facebook North America Live Sports Programming Lead. “This season will build off the success from the first one, with fresh interactive elements designed to bring fans even closer to the action and their favorite Superstars.”

The show bows its second season on Facebook Watch on September 18 at 10 PM ET. The show will be available in the US, Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Spain, Thailand and Vietnam.
