MJF may not be willing to accept a World Title challenge from Brody King, but he claims it has nothing to do with being scared. As noted King stepped to MJF in the opening segment of last night’s AEW Dynamite. The segment saw King interrupt the World Champion as he was bragging about his win over Bandido and discussing his post-match attack on the ROH World Champion. King said that he would love to tear MJF’s spine out, but he would settle for knocking him out and taking the AEW World Championship.

MJF responded to King by saying that King had only been fighting “tomato cans” and “jabronis,” and that he wouldn’t accept a challenge from King until he beat elite-level talent. He denied being afraid of King and told King never to interrupt him again before eventually making his way out of the ring.

The Salt of the Earth took to Twitter to let fans know that he is definitely not afraid of King, writing:

“NOT SCARED.

JUST BUSY.”

No word at this time when King will get his eventual match with MJF, nor which elite-level talent he will beat in order to satisfy the World Champion’s requirement.
