As previously reported, TNA Wrestling star Moose was pulled from a planned appearance at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Multiverse event scheduled for later this month. It’s said that TNA doesn’t want its talent appearing in the ring opposite other wrestlers contracted to other promotions on other shows that are streamed or taped. Fightful Select has an update on the situation, and growing concerns that more TNA talents will be pulled from scheduled indie events.

With regards to Moose’s situation, Fightful notes that sources within TNA indicated that Moose had a scheduling conflict with the MLP date on April 18. However, Fightful says there’s still a growing fear within the indies that top TNA stars, such as X-Division Champion Leon Slater and former World Champion Nic Nemeth, will be pulled from their upcoming scheduled matchups against AEW-contracted stars.

As previously reported, Nemeth is scheduled to wrestle AEW World Champion MJF at Create A Pro Wrestling’s CAP Monumental Moment on May 1. Meanwhile, Slater is set to face AEW’s Ricochet at Wrestlecon’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow on April 16.

Will TNA Wrestling Start Pulling Talents From Scheduled Indie Dates?

Fightful notes that sources familiar with the situation believe that TNA could be shifting to an environment where TNA wrestlers won’t be able to wrestle AEW wrestlers anywhere. That said, sources close to the situation informed Fightful that Nemeth is pushing to keep his matchup with MJF intact.

Additionally, Fightful reports that the immediate reaction from TNA Wrestling was that company president Carlos Silva was okay with the promotion’s wrestlers working MLP, but it’s said that Silva wasn’t happy with AEW running Collision opposite TNA iMPACT! last week, even though that decision was made by AEW’s broadcast partner and minority owner, Warner Bros. Discovery, but Collision had seemingly done well with its past weekend lead-ins from NCAA basketball.

Fightful’s report also notes that the outlet reached out to Silva regarding the matter, but they’ve yet to hear back.
