More NXT Talent Reportedly Set to be Released in Coming Days

Last Friday, WWE released several main roster and NXT talent as part of its annual post-WrestleMania budget cuts.

While the main roster cuts appear to have come to an end for now, Bryan Alvarez claimed in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR) that the NXT list is said to be larger than what has come out, indicating that more talents could be let go from the Performance Center this week.

“I’m just waiting to see if there’s any more coming, because the ‘NXT’ list was said to be larger than what has come out. And they do have a lot of people that they have in that Performance Center, and they’re constantly hiring new people. So I’m not sure this is the end of the developmental cuts. Hopefully it’s the end of all cuts, but I guess we’ll see Monday.” [H/T: Wrestling INC. ]

So far, Andre Chase, Dante Chen, Tyra Mae Steele, Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Malik Blade, Luca Crusifino, Chris Island, Sirena Linton, Trill London, and Carlee Bright have been let go. Bright announced her WWE exit ahead of the premiere of WWE LFG Season Three last night.
