The Motor City Machine Guns Set for Action at HOG Windy City Warfare

The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) are set to make their return to House of Glory Wrestling this weekend. HOG Wrestling announced today that the MCMG will be in action at Windy City Warfare on Friday, September 25.

House of Glory did not announce who the former WWE Tag Team Champions will be facing. The announcement reads, “House of Glory Wrestling is set to welcome back one of the most accomplished tag teams in professional wrestling as the Motor City Machine Guns — Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin — return to HOG this Friday, September 25, at Windy City Warfare from Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago.”

It continues, “After capturing tag team championships and competing at the highest levels around the world, Shelley and Sabin are returning to the independent wrestling scene with something to prove: why the Motor City Machine Guns are regarded as one of the greatest tag teams of their generation.”

This will be the tag team’s first match on the indies since 2024. The MCMG recently returned to AEW, appearing at AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium. They later made their AEW in-ring return earlier this month on Collision, beating The Swirl (Blake Christian and Lee Johnson) in a tag team bout.

HOG Windy City Warfare is being held at Chicago’s Logan Square Auditorium on Friday. It will stream live and free on YouTube at 8:00 pm CST.
