Mustafa Ali Retains International Title In Open Challenge On TNA Impact

Mustafa Ali remains your TNA International Champion, defeating Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall in an open challenge on TNA Impact. Thursday night’s show saw Ali host another open challenge for the title, offering to defend the championship against any TNA or independent talent.

Hall, who is a WWE ID talent and has competed on WWE EVOLVE, answered the challenge. Hall gave it everything he had, but Ali was able to turn things around. He avoided a Sliced Bread and, after getting hit with a thrust kick, was able to catch Hall off a springboard into a backslide and bridge for the pinfall in a little under five minutes.

You can see clips from the TNA Impact match below. Ali’s International Championship reign stands at 41 days, having won it from Trey Miguel at Rebellion.
