Nattie Slams Maxxine Dupri, Showed Dupri That ‘Natalya Elevates, But Nattie Decimates’

Nattie has no sympathy for her rival and former protege, Maxxine Dupri. During this week’s edition of Raw Recap, Nattie addressed their bout on last night’s WWE Raw, which ended in a double-countout. After the match ended, Nattie put Dupri in a Sharpshooter and refused to let go before AJ Lee came out to make the save.

Nattie later explained her actions on Raw Recap, sharing her candid thoughts about Maxxine Dupri. Below are some highlights:

Nattie on Why She Refused To Let Go of the Sharpshooter on Maxxine Dupri

“That was peace. That was me reminding Maxxine that Natalya elevates, but Nattie decimates, and you know, I think about when Maxxine won the Intercontinental Championship, who did Maxxine thank? She thanked AJ Lee. Some of the greatest Superstars that have ever lived have come to my family, have come to the Dungeon, the place that my Grandfather started in 1953; some of the greatest professional wrestlers that have ever lived came through there, and my family taught them everything they know. And I gave Maxxine something that was so special, and all she did was use me like a rung on the ladder, pulling herself up the ladder and not even thanking me for a thing. So tonight, I found a lot of peace.”

On Dupri Using Her Like a Rung on a Ladder

“Legends liked Mark Henry thanked my family, thanked my uncles, for helping him reach greatness. Legends like Gorilla Monsoon. Legends like Andre the Giant, who had help from my family, have thanked my family for greatness. Maxxine, I thought she was different, but she’s just like the rest of them. She used me like a rung on the ladder. And I am never going to forget it. And in some ways, I need to thank Maxxine, thank her for giving me a sort of awakening. But at the end of the day, good guys finish last.”

Her Thoughts on Maxxine Dupri

“Does it even matter, Sam? Does it even matter? When you look at someone like Maxxine Dupri, I thought Maxxine was different. That’s actually what hurts me more than anything. Like I said, nice guys finish last, and for me, for a very, very long time, I realized that doormats are good for one thing and one thing only, and that’s getting walked on. I thought Maxxine was different, but she’s not. She’s just like the rest of them. The rest of them that went on grabbed everything that they ever wanted and forgot about the people that helped them reach greatness. Maxxine is no different than anyone else. She used me like a rung on a ladder to pull herself up and win a championship, and then who does she thank? Sam, who did Maxxine thank? When she won the IC championship, who did she thank? Megan, who did she thank? Yeah, she thanked AJ Lee. So Maxxine, you know what? Maxxine can kiss my ****ing ***.”

It appears the issues between Nattie and Maxxine Dupri are far from over as their feud continues to heat up.
