Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth Set To Compete On This Week’s TNA Impact

The Nemeth Brothers will be forced to compete against each other on this week’s episode of TNA Impact, and they can’t weasel out of it. TNA announced on Tuesday that Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth will be facing each other in a match on this Thursday’s show. The booking is the result of The Hardys, who have feuded with the Nemeths in recent months, having “creative control” over this week’s episode.

In order to ensure that the two brothers and don’t take it easy on each other, the announcement noted that if either tries to intentionally lose the match, they will be stripped of the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Nic was previously the TNA World Champion but lost the title to Leon Slater at TNA Bound For Glory.

The announcement reads:

“This week we’re celebrating 35 years of The Hardys by letting @MATTHARDYBRAND and @JEFFHARDYBRAND take over the show and they’ve already made their first match – @NicTNemeth will face @ryrynemnem THURSDAY at 9/8c on @AMC_TV, @AMCPlus and TNA+, and 8pm ET on @Sportsnet 360.

If either Nemeth intentionally loses the match, whether it be count out, disqualification or laying down for the count, then both Nemeths will be stripped of their TNA World Tag Team Titles. #TNAiMPACT”

TNA Impact is taping tonight at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama. The show will air on AMC, AMC+, and TNA+ on Thursday.
