Paige Attacked By Nikki Bella Following US Title Match On WWE Smackdown

Paige failed to win the WWE United States Championship match on WWE Smackdown and was attacked by Nikki Bella afterward. Friday night’s show saw Paige challenge Jacy Jayne for the Women’s United States Title, with Jayne picking up the win to retain her championship.

The seven minute match came to an end when Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley got involved. Reid caused a distraction to prevent Paige from hitting the RamPaige and Paige took both her and Henley out, but was rolled up into a small package for Jayne for the victory to retain her title.

After the match, Bella attacked Paige from behind and then hit a spear. Bella hit a Rack Attack to finish the beatdown. You can see clips from the match and post-match attack below.

Jacy Jayne’s WWE Women’s United States Championship reign now stands at 15 days, having won the title from Tiffany Stratton on the August 14th episode of WWE Smackdown.
