Tonight, does Jake Roberts and Damien really take showers together? Only they know for sure. Plus, the Dream Team look to send the Bulldogs to the dog pound and take back their tag team belts. Can you really send people to the dog pound merely because a nickname? With that logic, you could say lighting Dynamite Kid on fire would cause him to eventually explode! And later on, Kamala makes his return to the WWF! It seems he’s already in talks with the Dungeon of Doom nine years ahead of time. Must be a hard club to get into! But first, Benedict Orndorff calls Hogan a crybaby. OH NO HE DIDN’T! Yes he did. It’s time for Saturday Night’s Main Event!

Roddy Piper was supposed to face the Iron Sheik tonight, but it seems Adonis and Muraco ravaged Piper’s knee a week ago with a chair. Piper gives his best coked-out interview. Nobody tells him what to do. He WILL wrestle tonight against doctors orders.

WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Orndorff (w/Bobby Heenan)

Orndorff and Heenan walk out to Hulk’s music, which is just good times. Hogan wins a slugfest, but Heenan grabs his ankle from the floor distracting Hogan long enough for Orndorff to knock him out on the floor. Hogan blocks an apron smash and gives it to Orndorff before heading back into the ring. Hulk fires away and hits the corner clothesline. Heenan gets up on the apron and pulls something out of his pocket, but gets nailed by Hogan. Orndorff gets in the cheapshot and takes over with elbows and stomps. Orndorff poses and hits a suplex for two. Hogan reverses a whip and catches Orndorff with a high knee. He slams Orndorff and goes for the LEG DROP, but Heenan grabs Hulk’s ankle again. Orndorff charges, but Hogan falls to the mat and allows Orndorff to go flying out to the floor. The ref calls for security and Bobby Heenan gets escorted from ringside to a locker room closet as we go to commercial. After the break, Orndorff suckers Hogan around the ring and back in for a knee. More elbows from Orndorff. Orndorff finally delivers the first wrestling move of the match: a backbreaker. That gets two. Orndorff wants the PILEDRIVER, but Hogan backdrops out. He begins to HULK UP and short-arm clotheslines Orndorff just like what was done to him. Hogan wants a PILEDRIVER as Adrian Adonis jumps the rail and attacks Hogan for the DQ. (10:21) Crutches and all, Roddy Piper tries to hurry down the aisle to get at Adonis. Piper WHACKS Adonis! He tries to whack Orndorff, but Orndorff ducks and exits stage right. Oops, Hogan almost takes the blow. Piper and Hogan have a stare down like they’re about to succumb to temptation and start beating the crap out of one another because they are complete mortal enemies. Piper thinks better of it and leaves. Ventura thinks Piper has sold out, and that makes him a very sad man. This was just exciting punch-kick stuff/angle advancement. **¼

Ricky Steamboat (w/Komodo the DRAGON~!) vs. Jake Roberts (w/Damien the SNAKE~!)

Yes, both guys bring their respective reptiles to the ring for this one. Steamboat works the arm early on. He tries for a flying splash, but he hits knees. They crawl over to get out their reptiles, but Jake fears the dragon and puts a stop to Steamboat. Roberts delivers a gutbuster for two. He hits the Short-Arm Clothesline for another two. Roberts drives his knee into Steamboat’s ribs and follows up with an atomic drop, but Steamboat surprises Jake with a crucifix for 1-2-3. (6:22) After the match, Roberts knocks Steamboat out to the floor and rams his ribs into the ringpost for good measure. He tosses Steamboat in the ring and pulls out Damien, but now Steamboat has his dragon out that’s actually a baby crocodile because that’s MUCH scarier than a python. He hits Jake with it to send him and Damien high-tailing it to the back. Silly ending aside, this was good fast-paced action. ***

Interview with the Hulkster: There’s no way he’s ever trusting that guy Roddy Piper, brother.

Pedro Morales vs. The Iron Sheik (w/Slick) ¼*

Roddy Piper hobbles down and yells at Morales to get out of the ring because this is HIS match.

Piper avoids a charge and WHACKS Sheik with his crutch. Slick distracts Piper long enough for Sheik to stand back up and attack from behind. Sheik kicks away at the knee and lifts Piper up in a suplex, but Piper counters into a small package for 1-2-3. (0:45) Yep, Piper’s a face now. Ventura just protested a handful of tights. ¼*

WWF World Tag Team Champions The British Bulldogs vs. The Dream Team (w/Johnny V) – 2/3 Falls

Oh this will be good. I always enjoyed these matches. Valentine and Dynamite start the match. Valentine goes to work early on Dynamite’s knee. Beefcake and DBS tag. They exchange hammerlocks and Davey Boy gets powered down to become our face-in-peril. Valentine misses an elbow and Dynamite gets a tag. He starts favoring his leg thanks to what Valentine did to it earlier. Valentine comes back with an atomic drop and a shoulderbreaker for two. Dynamite delivers a headbutt and tries a suplex, but Valentine nails him in the knee. From there, Valentine hooks on the FIGURE-FOUR. Beefcake cuts off Davey Boy Smith and Valentine gets the submission to win the first fall. (4:47 Dream Team – 1 Bulldogs – 0) During the break, Gene Okerlund announces that Adonis’ arm is injured from being whacked earlier by Piper’s crutch. The Dream Team stay on the knee and double-team after drawing DBS in the ring. Beefcake delivers a Nikolai Volkoff press backbreaker for two. Valentine misses another elbow drop and Davey Boy gets the HOT TAG! Hourglass suplex to Valentine! RUNNING POWERSLAM to Valentine! Beefcake runs in and gets caught on Davey Boy’s shoulders as Dynamite gets a tag and LEAPS off Beefcake for a Swandive Headbutt to Valentine! Cover, 1-2-3! (9:38 Dream Team – 1 Bulldogs – 1) After some commercials, Dynamite chops Valentine back and hits the Snap Suplex, but misses the diving headbutt. Valentine FINALLY connects with the elbow, leading to a false tag spot. It looks to be curtains for Dynamite and the Bulldogs tag title run as Valentine goes for the FIGURE-FOUR, but Dynamite kicks him off and makes another HOT TAG TO DAVEY BOY SMITH! Beefcake cuts him off immediately. The Dream Team continue to dominate with a few nearfalls. Beefcake hits his High Knee and covers for two, causing a four-man brawl. While Dynamite has Valentine cornered, Davey Boy reverses a corner whip on Beefcake and delivers a fisherman’s suplex for 1-2-3! (14:33 Bulldogs – 2 Dream Team – 1) Right on par with their other WrestleMania 2/SNME matches. ***½

Kamala (w/The Wizard & Kim Chee) vs. Lanny Poffo

Yes, the Wizard is the future leader of the Dungeon of Doom. At least he was for a short time anyway. You know the guy who’s covered in white makeup and shouts random anti-Hulkamania nonsense and tells Kevin Sullivan what to do? That’s who the Wizard is – or maybe you know him as King Curtis Iaukea from the ’60s and ’70s. That is if there’s any NWA Hawaii fans out there. Anyways, just a real short squash. Kamala wins with the UGANDAN SPLASH. (1:44) Kamala wants to dish out some AIR AFRICA, but Kim Chee and the Wizard calm him down. CRAP

The 411: If you're a fan of either the Hogan/Orndorff or Piper/Adonis feuds, you should check this one out. Even if your not, there's Steamboat/Roberts and Bulldogs/Dream Team matches to keep you nice and happy. Thumbs up for SNME #7.
