Persephone is set to miss in-ring action for the foreseeable future.
Ahead of tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, Tony Khan took to social media to inform fans about Persephone’s injury.
The AEW President revealed that Persephone got injured courtesy of Julia Hart’s mist at Collision: Playoff Palooza last Saturday.
The AEW and CMLL talent teamed up with Alex Windsor last weekend to take on Julia Hart and reigning AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla in a losing cause.
Persephone was set to compete in the Survival of the Fittest Match for the ROH Women’s Title at Supercard of Honor on May 15. As a result of her injury, she will no longer take part in that bout.
A one-on-one match between Zayda Steel and Hyan will take place to determine her replacement.
