Possible Spoiler For Tonight’s WWE Smackdown

A new report has a possible spoiler on a star backstage at tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown. According to PWInsider Elite (courtesy of Wrestling Inc), Blake Monroe is backstage at tonight’s show in Lexington, Kentucky.

The news isn’t horribly surprising, as it was reported last week that Monroe’s debut was expected to likely take place on this week’s show. Monroe’s main roster debut was teased in a vignette on the April 24th episode of Smackdown, with vignettes airing in successive weeks.

Monroe is the latest NXT star to be called up to the main roster following the likes of fellow post-WrestleMania call-ups Fatal Influence, Ricky Saints, Sol Ruca, Ethan Page, and Joe Hendry. She is a former NXT North American Champion.

Tonight’s show takes place in the Rupp Arena and airs live on USA Network in the US and Netflix internationally. The announced card is:

* WWE United States Women’s Championship Open Challenge: Tiffany Stratton vs. TBA.
* Talla Tonga vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.
* Rhea Ripley opens the show.
* Gunther responds to Cody Rhodes’ attack.
* Carmelo Hayes delivers a message to Trick Williams & Lil Yachty.
