World Wrestling Council 8/18 from Vega Baja PR:

– Los Adorables defeat Los Bucaneros in the opening tag team match. Los Adorables where more aggresive in their style which might hint at a push.

– Killer Kat defeats Genesis by pinfall in a solid women’s match.

– Superstar Romeo defeats Slam Shady by pinfall. Very good match and the crowd was solidly behind Romeo. Remember when he was pushed? Hopefully this means he will get another push because I think he is one of the best talents WWC has right now.

– Los Templarios(The Templars) Superstar Ash Rubynsky, Rick Stanlee & Lord William De La Vega defeat The D’Jour Twins & “Mr. 450” Hammet in a six man tag team match by pinfall. BJ came out to distract Ash, but it backfired since De La Vega used this chance to nail Hammet with the Spanish Flag for the pinfall.

– Noriega & Chris Joel defeat Huracan Castillo & Sheik Al Farat by pinfall. The invaders hit the ring and attack everyone in sight, but Carlos Colon comes out with security and they leave. Carlos then tells the invaders that if they are men enough, they will get back to the ring and wrestle. At this moment Joe Bravo walks out and comes into the ring. Carlos starts asking him questions and Bravo says he is not here with the invaders, but he is back in WWC and he is back to get what he deserves. He leaves without further explanation. Bravo has jumped from IWA!

– Apolo defeats Black Pain by pinfall. Slam Shady tried to help BP, but his attack backfired. Apolo then hits BP with a superkick and the Bottom of the Abyss to win the match.

– Carlos Colon comes out once again. He talks about the invaders and their hit and run tactics and challenges them to come to the ring. The invaders come out and head to the ring with the intention of attacking Colon, but Superstar Romeo, BJ and Hammet come in and stand by Carlos. The invaders dont like the odds and walk back to the crowd, but they are attacked from behind by Bryan, who chases them off.

– Rico Suave defeats Crazy Rudy by pinfall to win the WWC Television Title. Black Pain interfered and allowed Suave to win.

– The Legion of Armaggedon defeat Thunder and Lightning to retain the WWC Tag Team Titles. At one point in the match the Legion handcuffs Lightning to the bottom rope. One of the invaders(Jumpin’ Jeff Jeffry) hits the ring with the keys and free’s Lightning, The heels still win after Profe tosses powder into the faces eyes and the heels nail Lightning with a double chokeslam for the win. T & L then challenge The Legion to a handicap match next week, T & L vs The Legion & Profe.

– Eddie Colon defeats Bronco #1 by DQ when the masked man hits the ring and attacks Eddie and Carlos, who was the special referee. Thunder and Lightning hit the ring for the save and they get hold of the masked man, beating him and holding him down. Eddie Colon proceeds to rip his mask off and it turns out to be: Apolo! An enraged Eddie Colon is then attacked from behind by the heels, who free Apolo. The show ends with Bronco and Apolo hugging each other as Eddie looks on like a man possesed.

The countdown to the Orlando Colon vs Apolo match has begun since it was revealed that Apolo was the masked man who interfere in Fire Blaze’s(Orlando Colon) match with Bronco at the Anniversary.

– IWA Puerto Rico presents: Armaggedon 2007 from Bayamon, PR:

IWA’s first show in several weeks.

– Tommy Diablo & Ravishing GQ defeat Onix & Manny Magris by pinfall in what was a showcase for the winners over the jobbers.

– Ricky Vega(Machete in TNA) defeats Cruzz by pinfall

– Noel Rodriguez defeats Angel & Bolo the Red Bulldog in a 3 Way Dance to retain the IWA Hardcore Title.

– Out comes Dennis Rivera to announce his decision. Savio Vega comes out and talks to Dennis, but Dennis spits his face! Dennis spits him again as Savio begins to cry. Savio tells Dennis that he forgives him and walks out. Dennis then puts on the Starr Revolution Corporation shirt and hugs Noel! Heel turn for Dennis.

– Pelayito Vazquez defeats Prime Time in a referee’s match to become the new IWA Head Referee. During the match “Los encapuchados del Consejo”(The Council Hoodmen) come out and attack both referees, but “Los encapuchados de IWA”(The IWA Hoodmen) make the save. One of the IWA hoodmen was Chicano, the other was dressed like Jumpin’ Jeff Jeffry(but was not him since he is in WWC) and the third one is unknown. Who the Council ones are is unknown was well, but I suspect IWA just hired a bunch of indy jobbers or put hoods on their own guys.

– Big Vito defeats El Bacano to win the IWA Intercontinental Title. The dominicans then come out and argue with Bacano, who just leaves them.

– Carlitos & Hiram Tua defeat Diabolico & Diamante in a “Ladder & Penalty Box” Match to win the IWA Tag Team Titles.

– Slash Venom defeats Matt Morgan by DQ after Morgan goes nuts with a chair on Slash.

– Before the main event begins out comes Blitz to a loud pop and ovation. He says he is the real #1 contender and will cash in tonight as the main event will now be a 4 Way Match. Orlando Toledo comes out and denies him the shot, says he does not recognize Blitz as the #1 contender and Blitz is dragged out by security. Crowd is bummed after that one. Nice IWA, get the fans hopes up and then break them.

– Bison Smith defeats Glammour Boy Shane & Vampiro to retain the IWA World Title. Shane and Vampiro argue after the match.
