Rey Mysterio Set For AAA Show Later This Month

Rey Mysterio is heading down to AAA Lucha Libre, where he will appear for the company at the end of the month. AAA announced Friday on Twitter that the WWE Hall of Famer will appear at the AAA Alianzas taping on November 28th.

The announcement kept things simple, writing:

Mysterio returned to WWE TV on the November 5th episode of Raw. He came out to confront Dominik, pushing back on his son’s claims of being the greatest luchador ever. The segment ended with Dom attacking Rey but getting hit with a 619.

The elder Mysterio had been out of action since suffering a groin tear on the April 18th episode of Smackdown. He made an appearance at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide in September, fulfilling a promise to present the Mega Championship to then-new champion Dominik.

The November 28th taping will also feature The Creed Brothers are challenging Psycho Clown & Pagano for thew AAA World Tag Team Championships.
