Ric Flair has issued a legal threat on social media to someone he that he says is infringing on his tradmark for “Flair.” The WWE Hall of Famer posted to Twitter on Friday to accuse somone that he’s “very familiar with” of using his trademark for his last name.

Flair wrote:

“Unfortunately, there is someone that I’m very familiar with using my own trademark FLAIR. I would like anyone who is using my trademarks- which are impossible to own and I own mine, to know that I’m well represented by a reputable $1000 per hour attorney that makes a living suing people that abuse my trademark. You know who I’m talking about. I hope you can clear this up by Monday, and if we can’t resolve this issue, read the penalties.”

He then added a second post in which he wrote:

“The relationship was gone 9 years ago… I’m sorry & sad that it has come to this. I’ve tried my best to fix things over the years only to be rejected because your wife runs your life.”

While Flair did not explicitly mention who he is talking about, “Green Flair” is the name of a recycling company that is attached to what appears to be his son David Fliehr’s LinkedIn profile. The profile describes him as a “Management Team Member” and says he is based in Shelby, North Carolina, where Fliehr lives. Fliehr had a run on WCW in the late 1990s through 2001 and has been married to Robin Haskell since 2004.

To be clear, it is not confirmed that Flair is talking about David. The WWE Hall of Famer has yet to comment further on the matter.
