Rikishi has announced that he’s taking his leave from KnokX Pro Wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer posted to his Twitter account on Sunday evening to announce the news that he was going to “rest now” in terms of the wrestling academy and promotion.
Rikishi wrote:
“Love and respect KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy. As I take my leave, I appreciate your understanding and respect for my decision to rest now. KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy –
@knokxpro #Rikishi #Fatu”
Rikishi is a co-owner of the promotion and school, which was founded in 2009. KnokX Pro was initially announced as a WWE ID-affiliated school when the ID program was announced in 2024. However, it had its association pulled in August of 2025 after the now-infamous incident when Raja Jackson legitimately assaulted Syko Stu in the ring, putting him in the hospital. Jackson pleaded not guilty to one count of felony battery that caused serious bodily injury and one count of misdemeanor battery.
Rikishi did not list a reason why he was stepping away from the academy, nor whether this is a permanent or temporary situation.
