Road Dogg Says He Was Involved In Building WrestleMania 42 Card, Thinks It’s ‘Strong’

Road Dogg says he had a lot of input in the card for WrestleMania 42 before he left WWE, and thinks the lineup is a strong one. The former Smackdown co-lead writer exited the company in early March, as WWE was deep in the midst of setting up this year’s two-night PLE. He spoke during a recent virtual signing about the card, acknowledging that he was involved and saying he has nothing bad to say about where WWE is heading right now.

Road Dogg noted that he is excited for the Brock Lesnar match with Oba Femi and said WWE is “running fast” as it grows. You can see highlights below (courtesy of Fightful).

On If He Had Input on the Card:

“Yeah, I did. A lot.”

On What He Thinks Of the Lineup:

“I think it’s strong. I think it’s as strong as you’re gonna get. I really do. I’m excited about Brock (Lesnar) and — look, I’ve got nothing bad to say. They’re moving fast and they are growing expeditiously, financially, they’re setting records every — you can’t say nothing bad. It just was moving too fast for me. I’m getting older and it’s a young man’s game. They’re running fast and they’re running fast internationally.”

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally. The card as announced is:
