As previously noted, former Impact Wrestling World Champion Sami Callihan was rumored to be the latest name gone from TNA Wrestling. Callihan has now confirmed those reports with a post on his X account.
Callihan noted that he thought he was originally being called to be offered a creative role with TNA. Instead, he’s now parted ways with the promotion. He wrote, “Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure. Check out my company @PWRevolver.”
Sami Callihan retired from the ring last August after losing to Mike Santana in a Street Fight at TNA Emergence. He then transitioned to a behind-the-scenes producer role with the promotion.
