Sami Callihan Reportedly Gone From TNA Wrestling

It looks like another major name is departing from TNA Wrestling this week. According to a report by PWInsider Elite (via F4WOnline.com), “the word making the rounds” is that former Impact Wrestling World Champion Sami Callihan has also left the company.

Callihan was working behind-the-scenes as a producer for TNA after retiring from in-ring competition last year. He’s the latest name in a string of exits from the company this week.

As previously noted, word surfaced on Tuesday that Tessa Blanchard secured her release from TNA. Earlier today, TNA also confirmed that creative team member Tommy Dreamer had exited the company.

Earlier in the month, former Impact World Champion Steve Maclin was granted his release from the promotion. Other recent talent releases include Myla Grace and Dani Luna.

Sami Callihan has been a part of TNA since 2017, when he debuted in Impact Wrestling (now TNA once again). He retired from the ring after losing a Street Fight to Mike Santana at TNA Emergence last August.
