Backstage Note On AEW Status of Serena Deeb

There is currently no update on the AEW status of Serena Deeb, according to the recent Fightful Select Answers Q&A.

Deeb’s last AEW television appearance came in November 2024, when she confronted Britt Baker following her match against Penelope Ford. Baker eventually returned at All In: London in August 2026. Deeb, meanwhile, has remained absent from AEW television.

The report from Fightful Select Answers Q&A noted that Serena Deeb has not been linked to an injury. There have also been no major discussions about bringing her back to AEW television. Deeb wrestled on independent shows in December and March. However, Fightful Select said it had not received further information about her activity outside AEW.

The report also stated that Serena Deeb appears to be at home while continuing to receive payments under her AEW contract. The report noted that Deeb was under the impression that her matches were being cut short, but Fightful Select Answers Q&A also clarified it was “ages ago.”

Serena Deeb challenges "any woman that wants to join this Women's Division" because she's here to put the WRESTLING back in All Elite Wrestling!

I honestly would not mind Serena as Mercedes's first feud in AEW. Their matches together alone sound so dope.pic.twitter.com/V2MsEUrufA
