Shinsuke Nakamura Teases Identity of New Partner in Message To MFTs After WWE Smackdown

Shinsuke Nakamura has the new Tag Team Champions in his sights, teasing the reveal of his new ally in a message to the MFTs after WWE SmackDown. As noted, Talla and Tama Tonga won the Tag Team Titles in a three-way match on this week’s WWE SmackDown. In a digital exclusive posted after the show, Nakamura continued to say he has an ally joining him.

Shinsuke Nakamura told the new champions, “MFTs, congratulations. You are now the champions. Are you savoring the feeling, knowing it’ll be gone soon? Was the victory as sweet knowing what’s coming next?”

He continued, “Me, my partner, your destruction. My partner is what you all pretend to be. Experienced, vicious, deadly. He is chaos. He’s a ticking time bomb. Take cover.”

It’s worth noting that Hiromu Takahashi has been known as the “Ticking Time Bomb” and has dubbed his finisher as the Time Bomb. Takahashi was reported to be likely heading to WWE NXT earlier this year. To be clear, it is not confirmed that Takahashi will be Nakamura’s new partner.

No word as of now on when Nakamura will debut his new ally.
