Stu Grayson had a memorable outing at tonight’s MLP Uprising event, as he became the Interim MLP Canadian Champion.

Grayson emerged victorious in a six-person Gauntlet Match. He last-eliminated Jonathan Greesham via the Knightfall to capture the title.

Jay Lethal and Michael Oku started the match. Lethal was the first one to be eliminated courtesy of a crucifix pin from Oku.

Rohan Raja entered next and quickly eliminated Oku after blindsiding him. He then eliminated Rich Swann after nailing a backstabber and a leaping downward spiral. Stu Grayson entered fourth and subsequently eliminated Raja via the Knightfall. Jonthan Greesham was the final man to enter the match. However, before he could make his way to the ring, Raja attacked Stu with a chair.

This would not deter Stu Grayson, though, as he put away Greesham after an intense back-and-forth to earn the decisive victory.

For those unaware, Josh Alexander is the reigning MLP Canadian Champion. However, he is currently sidelined due to a knee injury and is slated to undergo surgery.
