Taz and Mick Foley Weigh In on War Raiders Being Renamed The Viking Experience
– Taz and Mick Foley may or may not be fans of the War Raiders’ new name, but they’re not down on the team quite yet. The two WWE legends took to Twitter to comment on Rowe and Hanson’s main roster debut as the Viking Experience, a change from their War Raider names from NXT.
Taz spoke up to talk to express his excitement for the team’s debut, then defended the team when someone said they were “buried” on Raw with their new name. Meanwhile, while Foley was somewhat less specific about his thoughts on the new team name, instead pointing out that your name is what Vince McMahon defines it as:
Awesome to see @RAYMONDxROWE & @WarBeardHanson part of #RAW 👍👍

I’m DEAD serious. And I think saying they are “buried” is a stretch. https://t.co/5AqWxrRauD

Wow just wow. I guess you don’t listen to my content. I ain’t defending anybody, I don’t work for them, I don’t have to. It’s about TV exposure and most importantly making money. And that happened for those two guys and they deserve it. Wake up. https://t.co/X8w374g6Tn

Good point Brandon – but, I simply gave Mr. McMahon an option, and he took it. Until I was announced as #Mankind on #Raw, I had no idea he’d gone with my idea. If Vince had INSISTED on #MasonTheMutilator, bah gawd, that’s who I would have been! Oh, and #ChillyMcFreeze = 💰💰💰 https://t.co/A7uRq8H3k1
