Ted DiBiase Jr. made his first public comments after being acquitted by a jury in his trial on fraud charges. As noted, the WWE alumnus was found not guilty on Friday in Jackson, Mississippi of conspiracy to commit wire and 11 other charges.

DiBiase spoke with WAPT after the verdict. You can see the highlights below (per PWInsider):

On the Verdict:

“They got it right and I give all the glory to God. I give all the credit to my Lord and Savior to Sidney Lampton, Scott Gilbert, Eric Kirschman. I think that they did an amazing job of portraying truth and seven years of being slandered and, made to be something that is completely false, is about torn my family apart, but we’re strong and I’ve had so many friends and okay, so much family that have come around us and we, I’m proud that we’ve walked through this and I’m so thankful that it’s over.”

On If He Doubted Whether He Would Be Acquitted:

“I left it in God’s hands and whatever the verdict was today, I was okay with it. Man makes his plans, God directs his steps.”

On His Immediate Reaction to the Verdict:

“It still hadn’t sank in. It’s just been so long that this cloud has lived over me and I’m just grateful for it to be over and I’m grateful that I get to go home to my children and I will remain with them.”

On What’s Next For Him:

“I don’t know. I might go cut my grass today. I’m gonna live again and I’m gonna continue to serve people because that really is who I am and I do care about every Mississippian and to all the doubters or haters or people that have maybe. Have false information and not all the information. I forgive you and I love you too.”
