TNA Reportedly Expected To Start Contract Extension Talks After New TV Deal Announced

TNA is looking to begin their contract extension talks following the announcement of their new TV deal, according to a new report. As reported on Tuesday, the company announced that it signed a deal with AMC that will begin on January 15th, 2026. The deal will see TNA Impact air on AMC and AMC+, with more live episodes.

The company has been reported as having a number of contracts up. Jody Threat’s deal expired on December 1st. Talent like Steve Maclin, The Rascalz, AJ Francis, Jake Something, and Mustafa Ali have contracts up at the end of the year. In addition, The IInspiration and Cedric Alexander had their deals expire after Bound For Glory. Some conversations have been had with some talent, but not all of them.

Fightful Select reports that several conversations are expected to happen over the next week regarding contracts. A couple of talent in TNA indicated that they wanted to wait for the new TV deal to be announced before negotiations began. It’s not yet clear who or how many will get contract extensions, though TNA has been interested in keeping many of the talent whose deals are up.

The report adds that TNA has been eyeing some new talent, including the previously-reported Bear Bronson and others.
