Trey Miguel Returns On TNA Impact, Competes In Feast Or Fired Match

Trey Miguel is back in TNA already, making his return on this week’s TNA Impact to compete in the Feast or Fired match. Thursday night’s show saw Miguel make his return to the company, coming out for the trademarked TNA gimmick match.

It was noted by Tom Hannifan on commentary that Miguel has re-signed with the company. Miguel’s return comes after he was released from AEW shortly after signing with the company. Miguel’s release reportedly came from above AEW, and was due to a comment Miguel made in 2020 that was a homophobic clapback to an online troll. Miguel publicly apologized very shortly after the comment.

It was reported earlier today that TNA was in talks to bring him back to the company.

The other competitors in the match were AJ Francis, the Home Town Man, Rich Swann, Mance Warner, Eric Young, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and Steve Maclin.

Maclin, Miguel, Edwards, and Young grabbed the four cases, three of which will grant title shots and one of which will result in the holder being fired. The briefcases will be opened on next week’s show.
