Trick Williams & Lil Yachty Reportedly Earning Praise Within WWE

The pairing of Trick Williams and Lil Yachty is reportedly earning high marks from those within WWE. Williams and Yachty have been appearing on WWE TV since the start of April amid Williams’ feud with then-United States Champion Sami Zayn. The rapper was in Williams’ corner when he won the US Championship from Zayn at WrestleMania 42, and has continued to appear on WWE since.

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, Williams has been earning praise from WWE officials for his work as of late. It was noted by sources that Williams’ appearance on last week’s Smackdown in his home state of South Carolina went over particularly well in terms of his entrance, performance and the reaction from fans. Despite the fact that it was his home state, some within the company said the reaction caught them off guard in a positive manner.

Lil Yacthy has also earned praise backstage in the company, particularly around how dedicated he has been to delivering in his work on WWE TV.

Williams does not currently have a match set for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend or WWE Clash in Italy next weekend. No word as of yet on whether he will appear at either show.
