Update on Hiroshi Tanahashi’s Knee Injury & Status for WrestleKingdom 12

Here is the latest on Hiroshi Tanahashi’s knee injury. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tanahashi was pulled from the end of the World Tag League Tournament, due to a right knee injury. There was fear that he had a meniscus tear, but he was diagnosed with arthritis and fluid on the knee. There’s no official word on him working the weekend Road to shows, but all indications are that he will be working WrestleKingdom 12, defending the IC title against Jay White.
