Update On AEW Contract Status Of Nyla Rose

A new report has an update on Nyla Rose and her AEW contract status after she was announced for an upcoming Marigold event. It was reported on Thursday that Rose will compete at Dream Star Fighting Marigold on May 23rd in an eight-woman tag team match. She will team with Nagisa Nozaki, Nightshade, and Johnnie Robbie and battle Natsumi Showzuki, Nao Ishikawa, Koshino Syoko, and Angel Hayze.

While the announcement led some to question whether the status of Rose’s AEW contract, Fightful Select reports in their weekly Debunkathon article that Rose is still under contract with the company.

Rose has not wrestled on AEW TV since the November 20th, 2024 episode of AEW Rampage when she teamed with Harley Cameron in a losing effort to Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa. Fightful Select reports that Rose is not injured and has had no issues with being cleared.

While she hasn’t worked matches for AEW or ROH, she has wrestled regularly on the independent scene with promotions like Pro-Wrestling EVE, GCW, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, and more. No word as of yet on when we will see Rose on AEW or ROH TV again.
