WWE News: New Update on Shane McMahon’s WWE Status, New Total Divas Previews, Full Last Battle of Atlanta Coming to The WWE Network

– According to PWinsider.com, Shane McMahon’s appearance at Smackdown 1000 was meant to be his return to TV. He will be worked into company storylines and will be appearing on Smackdown in the weeks to come.

– Here are previews for the next two weeks of Total Divas…

October 24: “The WWE Female Superstars head to Miami to celebrate Nattie and Nia’s birthday with surprises in store while Nicole is hounded by the paparazzi wherever she turns, even when flirting with a hot bartender. All the while, the Superstars’ dancing skills are put to the test for a sexy dance battle at a Miami nightclub.”

October 31: “Lana seeks advice from Brie and Nicole when Rusev announces he wants to have a baby; Nicole goes against Brie’s wishes and plans a surprise party with Rusev for Birdie’s first birthday.”

According to PWinsider.com, the WWE Network will be adding the October 1983 Georgia Championship Wrestling “The Last Battle of Atlanta” event from the Omni in Atlanta, GA to the Hidden Gems section for VOD viewing later today. That show features the following…

* Bruno Sammartino Jr. versus Pat Rose
* Les Thorton versus Joe Lightfoot
* The Great Kabuki with Gary Hart versus Ron Garvin for the National TV Title
* Mr. Wrestling II versus Bob Roop
* Jake Roberts with Paul Ellering versus Brett Wayne for the National Heavyweight Title
* Jimmy Valiant and Pez Whatley versus the Road Warriors with Paul Ellering for the National Tag Team Titles
* Tommy Rich versus Buzz Sawyer in a Lights Out ” Last Battle of Atlanta” Steel Cage Match with Paul Ellering suspended above the ring in a cage. If Rich won the match, Ole Anderson would face Ellering.
