Several more releases from WWE NXT have been confirmed including Wendy Choo, Adriana Rizzo, Zena Sterling, and more. Fightful Select reports that the following names were let go today as part of the company’s NXT cuts:

* Wendy Choo.

* Adriana Rizzo.

* Zena Sterling.

* Anya Rune.

* Braxton Cole.

* Gary Wilson.

* Ellen Akesson.

* Marcus Brown.

This are in addition to the releases of Jasper Troy and PJ Vasa that both of those talents confirmed earlier in Friday.

It was initially reported that main roster cuts were not expected. Fightful noted that they have not heard of any cuts on the main roster, and there is no word on whether more cuts are coming.

The most prominent of the above cuts are Choo and Rizzo, both of whom were part of big storylines in NXT. Choo signed with WWE in 2019 and initially worked as Karen Q before being reintroduced as Mei Ying, the head of a stable named Tian Sha with Xia Le and Boa. She was repackaged not long after to Wendy Choo. She is a former WWE Evolve Women’s Champion.

Rizzo joined WWE in 2022 and was part of Tony D’Angelo’s stable, debuting with them in November. Rizzo suffered an injury in August of last year and was written off TV through the D’Angelo Family’s dissolution. She made her TV return as an interviewer on the July 8th episode of WWE Evolve.
