Will Ospreay Says He’s Not Cleared For Forbidden Door On AEW Dynamite, Still Competing

Will Ospreay says he’s not cleared to compete at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door, thus the Lights Out stipulation for his match. Ospreay opened Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite with a promo, noting that he hasn’t been cleared for his match alongside Hiroshi Tanahashi, Darby Allin, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Gabe Kidd, and the Young Bucks at Sunday’s PPV.

Ospreay said that the Lights Out stipulation added to the cage match allows AEW to not have responsibility for the match and noted that he plans to leave it all in the ring in case he’s not the same person after.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door takes place on Sunday and airs live on PPV from London.
