While the debut of Danhausen in WWE didn’t go over as well as hoped, the company is said to be pleased with how things have gone with him since. As noted, the Very Nice, Very Evil One made his debut as the person inside the mystery crate at the February 28th PLE. The segment earned an initial pop from the crowd when he came out of the box, but it faded by the time he and his dancers made it into the ring.

Fightful Select’s weekly Debunkathon notes that most people in WWE knew that the debut didn’t go over the way that they expected. However, they noted that he wasn’t rattled by the situation and responded well. People that the outlet spoke to in WWE are said to be pleased by the way that he’s turned things around.

Danhausen has appeared on several episodes of Raw and Smackdown, cursing Dominik Mysterio and El Grand Americano on back to back episodes of Raw. He appeared on last week’s Smackdown, with Nick Aldis pushing him off on The Miz. It was reported earlier today that he is internally listed as a free agent and thus not assigned to a particular brand as of yet.
