Leighty’s WWE Main Event Review 10.30.25

-Royal Rumble 93 Retro Review was posted today. I have Christmas pictures in a few hours so trying to get this show done early. Let’s get to it!

-Announce Team: Blake Howard and Vic Joseph

The Street Profits (w/ B Fab) vs. Los Garza

-It’s like I back watching this show in 2020 except we have fans and not an empty PC. Ford and Berto start us off and Ford gets arm control. Berto counters which lets Ford flip his way out. Berto lands the first set of strikes, but gets caught with a dropkick. Blind tag by Berto though and Angel rushes in with a dropkick. Angel tears away his pants which distracts the ref and that allows Berto to land some shots from the apron. “Lets Go Montez” chant from the crowd as Los Garza continue to cheat. Berto gets a delayed two count as the ref was with Dawkins. Suplex from Berto gets two. Angel in with another suplex and it also gets two. Back to Berto who mocks The Profits. Ford blocks a double suplex and gets both guys over with a suplex by himself. Hot tag to Dawkins as the announcers mention he is annoyed by the Bengals losing last week. Here in Pittsburgh a host on The Fan had to get his nipples pierced because he guaranteed the Steelers would be the Bengals. Good job on Poni going through with it and raising money for breast cancer awareness. Berto goes to the eyes to get off the sho9. ulders and Angel shoves Ford off the top rope. Disaster Kick from Berto gets two! Angel back in but Dawkins saves from the apron. Ford with an enziguiri that sends Berto to the floor. Sky High to Angel and Ford finishes with The From The Heavens Splash for the pin at 4:59.

Winners: The Street Profits via pin at 4:59
-Just a normal tag match to pop the crowd as the Profits are still over with the fans. I was hoping for a bit more but it’s Main Event so this is what we get. **1/4

-Back to RAW last week as Jey Uso wins a Battle Royal to punch his ticket to SNME and a match with CM Punk for the vacated World Championship.

-John Cena: One Last Match: SNME! Only on Peacock!

-Peacock commercials!

-Back to RAW as CM Punk and Jey Uso have a verbal battle to put some hype on their SNME Match. Punk does most of the talking, but Jey gets the last word.

-Back to RAW as Bron Breakker is still annoyed at not being in The Battle Royal. Heyman having to suck up to them while also trying to explain why the idea wouldn’t work is good stuff. The Brons are going to murder him at some point. Bron gets a match with LA Knight.

-Back to RAW as we get the close of Bron/Knight. Good match with Bron getting the win. No surprise, and Knight shouldn’t get the win here, but he will need a win somewhere at some point.

-RAW last week as Prison Dom gets the win over RUSEV in a match that had Penta getting involved. Penta vs. RUSEV set to see who faces Dom at SNME.

-Survivor Series: WAR GAMES! Nov 29! I may be in Cleveland that day getting rid for 49ers at Browns the next day. Haven’t decided if I am going the day before or the morning of the game.

-Peacock commercials!

-Back to RAW as Penta/RUSEV is interrupted and thrown out due to Los Americanos hitting the ring at the request of Prison Dom. That earns Dom a Triple Threat Match at SNME.

-Peacock commercials!

-ASUKA hype video. Which works on two levels as it puts over how great ASUKA is, while taking a subtle shot at Goldberg over his comments about ASUKA.

Alpha Academy (w/ Maxxine Dupri) vs. OTM

-OTM gets another shot on Main Event! OTM with clubbering on Otis. He breaks through a double clothesline and knocks OTM down. Tag to Tozawa and Otis helps throw him off the top onto OTM for a two count. Price eats an enziguiri and Tozawa goes for the tag, but Bronco pulls Otis to the floor. We take a break at 2:15.

-WWE Shop commercial!

-60 seconds Peacock commercials!

-Back at 3:47 with OTM working Tozawa over in the corner as they put the boots to him. Splash in the corner and a stomp from Bronco gets a two count. Otis is still out on the floor. Price chokes Tozawa on the middle rope and tags back to Bronco. This time the splash misses and Tozawa drops Bronco with a DDT. Otis is back on the apron and now it’s hot tag! Back elbow to Price. Clothesline to Bronco followed by a splash. Another splash! CATERPILLAR gets two as Price dives in for the save. Tozawa in and sends him to the floor where he hits a suicide dive. World’s Strongest Slam from Otis and Tozawa off the top with a Senton for the pin at 7:09.

Winner: Alpha Academy via pin at 7:09
-Just a standard tag match. The opener was better but the crowd was into this one as well because they love Otis. **

-WrestleMania XLII commercial! The HHH on the roof one. Not the social media teased one.

-Peacock commercials!

-Back to RAW as we get the final minutes of Charlotte/Alexa defending their Tag Titles against Bayley and Lyra. Good stuff as they killed it and made the most of getting the RAW Main Event spot. Charlotte and Alexa retain, but get attacked by The Kabuki Warriors after the match.

-Thanks for reading!

Tag action dominated the show this week and both were solid, but nothing more. Just an average episode this week, but as always an easy watch and a way for you to get caught up on what you may have missed on RAW.
