WWE News: Notes on What Happened for Smackdown’s Dark Main Event, Alternate Footage of Bobby Roode’s Smackdown Debut,

– Following Smackdown this week, there was a dark match main event after 205 Live featuring Randy Orton vs. WWE world champion Jinder Mahal (via WrestlingInc.com). Orton won the match by disqualification after The Singh Brothers interfered. Orton hit Mahal with an RKO and went for the pin, but then The Singh Bros. came in and beat up Orton. Mahal then left up the entrance ramp and left. Orton then managed to make a comeback and stopped the brothers to close the show.

This was Orton’s only appearance last night, since he did not appear on TV. He was in action at Summerslam, beating Rusev in their match after five seconds. You can check out 411mania’s full results and coverage of Summerslam RIGHT HERE.

– WWE released a new video showing some alternate angles of Bobby Roode’s debut on last night’s edition of Smackdown live. You can check out the footage of his “Glorious” entrance in the player below.

– WWE released this video from 205 Live, showing TJP and Rich Swann. Swann told TJP to focus on recovering from his apparent knee injury, so Swann can beat him. You can check out the video below. TJP mentioned during the show that he suffered an injury against Swann and is selling it on TV. WWE has not officially confirmed the injury though.
