Does WWE have plans in the works for the music and entertainment arena, the Sphere? According to a new report by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE inquired about a promotional piece to appear on the Sphere during WrestleMania week.
However, despite the inquiry, no deal has reportedly come together yet between WWE and the Sphere. Additionally, WrestleVotes Radio reports that there was an early concept with Danhausen being featured on the Sphere.
It’s noted that a deal hasn’t come together due to the high cost of advertising on the domed arena. For now, it doesn’t appear there will be any WWE advertisements at the arena next week.
Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18-19. Both nights will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. Also, the first hour of Night 1 will air on ESPN2. The first hour of Night 2 will be shown on the linear ESPN network.
