Bellator References UFC 208 Cancellation to Promote Their Own Event

Bellator MMA has taken advantage of the UFC’s cancellation of UFC 208 in order to promote their own event in Los Angeles that weekend. UFC cancelled the PPV due to a lack of suitable fighters after they loaded up on talent for UFC 205 and 207, along with a spate of injuries, and has moved UFC 208 to February in Brooklyn.
Bellator 170 was set to go head to head with the event in Los Angeles and Bellator took to Twitter to capitalize on the cancellation, posting:
