Cody Rhodes Wins GFW NEX*GEN Championship

– Cody Rhodes has added a new title to his resume. Rhodes won the Global Force Wrestling NEX*GEN Championship from Sonjay Dutt at Saturday night’s WrestleCade’s Showcase of Champions, which took place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

WZ reports that Rhodes spoke to the crowd and said that his father always told him “sometimes the title makes the man, and other times the man makes the title.” He said he plans to find out which he is, as he’s defending the title for a company that is not GFW tonight at Prarie Wrestling Alliance’s http://pwawrestling.ca/?p=2193 target=new>Christmas Slam in Edmonton, Alberta.
