WWE Releases Ron Simmons and Sgt. Slaughter

According to Pwinsider.com, WWE has released Ron Simmons and WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter today. Simmons has been doing promotional work for the company, as well as appearing on TV occasionally. Slaughter has also made occasional appearances on TV, and has been working as an agent/producer for many years.
