CBS Sports Runs Story on Braun Strowman’s Softball Legend Father
– CBS Sports has released a new feature story looking at the softball career of Braun Strowman’s father. A video from the article is below. Scherr is believed to have hit over 1,800 home runs; the article notes that many of the home runs were hit at distances that would have gone completely out of many Major League Baseball stadiums.
According to the article, Scherr hit 451 home runs in 191 games in 1986. He has played in the World Series a record of fourteen times and was inducted into the United States Specialty Sports Association Hall of Fame in 1994.
