No DQ Match: Jack Gallagher vs. Brian Kendrick: No ring gear for Gallagher, as he comes to the ring in street clothes, but still looks gentlemanly. Gallagher just stares down Kendrick as Kendrick yells at him. Gallagher attacks with strikes right away, working over Kendrick in the corner. Kendrick tries to use an umbrella but Gallagher hits a head butt and he now uses the umbrella. They work to the floor and Gallagher hits a shotgun dropkick, sending Kendrick over the barricade. They brawl into the crowd, with Gallagher controlling. Gallagher then throws production cases at Kendrick, and whips him into a barricade. The fight goes to the stage, and Kendrick is tossed into the LED board. He continues to control, laying in strikes as they work back to the ring. Kendrick powders to the floor and eats a baseball slide. Gallagher then works mounted punches on the table, and then takes apart the table. But that allows Kendrick to get a kendo stick and attack. He then repeatedly slams Gallagher off the steps, and then traps Gallagher in the ring apron ropes. Kendrick follows with more kendo stick shots. Gallagher got busted open and the ref checks on him. The trainer is also over as Kendrick celebrates. We’re back to action as Kendrick gets the ring bell and hits a DDT onto it and used the kendo stick to apply the captain’s hook. The ref stops it. Brian Kendrick defeated Jack Gallagher @ 7:35 via submission [***] This was good, they worked with a great sense of urgency and I felt they played to the stipulation very well. I love serious Jack Gallagher, and it was great to see Kendrick not clowning around like he had been. There was no messing around here; it was all action with both guys trying to brutalize each other. I am not a fan of the feud overall, but I liked this as it was different than the usual 205 Live match. The finish was likely rushed due to Gallagher getting busted open, but it was a strong heel finish.

– Noam Dar, Tony Nese, and Drew Gulak talk about their big six-man tag tonight. Gulak says Enzo can’t cut it on 205 Live. Nese doesn’t give a shit about Enzo and shows off his abs, and says Enzo is not on his level. They plan to make this Enzo’s first and last 205 Live match.

– TJP is out on commentary.

Rich Swann vs. Ariya Daivari: Daivari looks to ground the action early, but Swann picks up the pace and hits the dropkick for 2. Daivari cuts off Swann, working the lower back with strikes, Swann counters back and hits a kick and leg drop for 2. Rolling thunder follows for 2. Daivari powders to the floor and then slams Swann to the announce table. Daivari then takes one of TJP’s crutches, TJP stops him and back in, Swann rolls up Daivari for the win. Rich Swann defeated Ariya Daivari @ 4:13 via pin [**] This was all to advance Swann vs. TJP, where TJP can take credit for Swann winning, while exposing TJP as a liar and that he’s avoiding Swann.

– Post match, Daivari attacks TJP, but TJP fights back, revealing that his knee is just fine. Swann is not pleased, and then hands TJP his crutch and bails. TJP then lays out Daivari with the detonation kick.

– Enzo Amore meets with Cedric Alexander and Gran Metalik, and says that he’s here to stay and wants to be a player coach for them. Alexander tells him to slow his role and that they have been doing this since day one. Alexander and Metalik are not thrilled that they have to tag with Enzo.

– Enzo does his shtick. He makes fun of Dar, and asks Nese looks like Captain Underpants. He then calls him a chip ‘n’ dales dancer.

Enzo Amore, Cedric Alexander, and Gran Metalik vs. Noam Dar, Tony Nese, and Drew Gulak: Enzo and Gulak in to begin. Graves running down Enzo every week will be the best part of him being on 205 Live. Gulak mocks Enzo and then looks to work the arm. Enzo basically runs away and then doesn’t tag out. Gulak grounds him, and then takes him to the corner. Enzo battles back, tags in Alexander as we see Neville watching on from backstage. Nese tags in, as he and Alexander renew their rivalry. Alexander takes control, hitting a dropkick and then tags in Enzo. He hits a double sledge off the ropes, but Nese quickly cuts him off. He slaps him around and talks shit. Enzo fights back, and it breaks down. Alexander and Metalik hit dives, and Nese cuts of Enzo as he looked for a dive. Nese mocks Enzo’s dance, Alexander blind tags in and works over Nese. Alexander gets distracted as Nese clips the knee and pulls Alexander to the floor. Dar attacks as well as Enzo accidentally distracts the ref. Back in and Gulak takes the heat on Alexander, grounding him and isolating him in his half of the ring. Alexander hits the back handspring kick for the double down. We get tags to Metalik and Nese, with Metalik running wild, hitting a superkick and reverse sling blade and ropewalk dropkick for 2. Metalik hit the enziguri, heads up top and Gulak pulls Nese to the floor and Metalik crashes and burns. Enzo gets the hot tag, hits a high cross and eat defeat, but Dar rolls to the floor. Enzo rolls up Nese, gets the feet on the ropes and picks up the win. Enzo Amore, Cedric Alexander, and Gran Metalik defeated Noam Dar, Tony Nese, and Drew Gulak @ 10:04 via pin [**¼] So the gimmick with Enzo is that no one likes him, he’s shit in the ring and had to cheat to win. This makes me think that someone like Alexander or another face eventually beats Neville for the title, so that they can turn Enzo heel to eventually play off of all of that. The match was solid, but completely unspectacular.

– Neville is not impressed.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

The final score: review Average
The 411
The show started out strong and high energy Jack Gallagher vs. Brian Kendrick match, but fell off after that, leading to an ultimately average show at best. I did like the next step in the Swann vs. TJp feud, but there was nothing must see here tonight.
