WWE News: Kairi Sane Debuts New Theme at NXT Takeover: WarGames, Flip Gordon on ROH Going Head-to-Head With NXT

– Kairi Sane’s new theme song debuted last night at NXT Takeover: WarGames. Sane faced Ember Moon, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross for the NXT Women’s Title in the match. Sportskeeda reports that the new song is similar to her previous one with mostly string and woodwind instruments, but with a choir singing some of the melodies.

Moon won the championship in the match.

– ROH’s Flip Gordon spoke with Sporting News earlier this week and discussed NXT and ROH running head-to-head over the weekend. ROH ran night two of Survival of the Fittest last night in Houston at the same time as NXT Takeover: WarGames was going on.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence,” said Gordon. “I think it happened on purpose. The Ring of Honor fans are very loyal and the event was already sold out. That’s a testament itself; two of the biggest companies running the same day and the same town. That says a lot for what we’re doing and what the future holds for us.”
