Rose Byrne Says Moira MacTaggert Will Not Be In X-Men: Dark Phoenix
In an interview with Cinema Blend, Rose Byrne revealed that her character Moira MacTaggert will not appear in the upcoming sequel X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
She said: “Unfortunately, Moira is not showing up. I wish she was. I had such fun on X-Men: Apocalypse. I love that cast. It is a really fun, what do you call it? Superhero film… ensemble exactly. I can’t wait to see what [Jessica Chastain] does, ’cause I’m such a fan.”
The character previously appeared in X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Apocalypse. The newest film is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Evan Peters and Lamar Johnson. The sequel arrives in theaters on November 2.
