Fred Durst Goes Viral After Sporting New Look At Limp Bizkit’s Lollapalooza Set
Fred Durst was sporting a new (or rather, old) look during Limp Bizkit’s Lollapalooza set on Saturday, and he went viral as a result. As ComicBook.com reports, the rocker and filmmaker appeared rocking a biker mustache and a distinctly chill-looking head of grey hair.
The set, which was livestreamed on Hulu like the rest of Lollapalooza, caused Durst to instantly trend on Twitter due to it being such a big departure from his more famous style during Limp Bizkit’s heyday of the ’00s. You can see some tweets of people freaking out about it below, as well as an Instagram post Dusrt made showing a better look at his new style and video of the band performing “Break Stuff.”
Limp Bizkit haven’t released an album since 2011’s Gold Cobra, and their sixth studio album has been in a state of development hell since 2012. They are currently in the midst of a tour that runs through the summer. Durst, who is now 50, has gone deeper into filmmaking since the band’s last album and directed his third film, the largely reviled The Fanatic, in August of 2019. It earned Durst a Razzie nomination for Worst Director as well as ones for Worst Picture and Worst Actor (John Travolta).
