As previously reported, AEW has entered a working relationship with DDT Pro, as announced by Christopher Daniels at DDT Pro’s anniversary show. In the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, more details were given about the deal between the two companies.
According to Dave Meltzer, the deal will also include Tokyo Joshi Pro, which includes wrestlers like Maki Itoh. Meltzer also noted that Kenny Omega played a role in setting it up due to his relationship with the company.
Omega said of the deal yesterday: “DDT, (which includes me), has been the best kept secret in wrestling for over a decade. It only took 2 of us together to change the entire wrestling landscape from 2010- now. The next generation is looking to leave an impact. Be ready.”
