Mike Chioda Takes Pride in Refereeing Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 18

– During a recent edition of Monday Mailbag for AdFreeShows, former WWE referee Mike Chioda noted how proud he was to call The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18 in 2002. He said on the matchup (via WrestlingInc.com), “It was awesome to get put in that position, that means you’re doing your job. I took pride in what I did because you get put in that situation, that segment, that main event, that means the boys trust you, the agents trust you, the higher-ups trust you, Vince [McMahon] and Kevin Dunn or whoever. They all trusted you to be in that spot.”

The Rock defeated Hulk Hogan in their WrestleMania matchup. The event was held at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
