Paramount Delays Aang: The Last Airbender To 2026, Transformers One Bumped By a Week

Paramount has pushed back a couple of their high-profile films, delaying Aang: The Last Airbender to 2026 and pushing Transformers One back a week. Variety reports that the animated Last Airbender film will now open on January 20th, 2026 instead of the originally-scheduled October 10th, 2025 date. Meanwhile, Transformers One will now open on September 20th of this year instead of September 13th.

Dave Bautista and Eric Nam are set to lend their voices to Aang, with Bautista playing a villain. Plot details are under wraps.

Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry are voicing a young Optimus Prime and a young Megatron, respectively, in the animated Transformers prequel which will reveal how the two “transformed from brothers in arms to sworn enemies.” Also in that voice cast are Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.
