The Rock Reveals New Monster Jam Movie at D23

As noted, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was in attendance at the studio showcase for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on Friday, showcasing Moana 2. Additionally, Johnson and Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Alan Bergman revealed another new project Johnson has in the works, Monster Jam, based on the world of monster truck rallies. The upcoming feature will celebrate the biggest motorsport event in the world, of which The Rock is a huge fan.

Johnson is producing the film under his Seven Bucks Productions banner. There aren’t many details yet on the project or the scope of the film, or how much The Rock will be involved beyond producing the feature.

It will be released later on by Walt Disney Studios.
