Cody Rhodes Weighs In On Rumor Of Match Against Roman Reigns & The Rock At WrestleMania 41

Cody Rhodes recently addressed a rumor that he’ll be main eventing WrestleMania 41 against Roman Reigns and The Rock. Rhodes is currently adjecent to the the Bloodline storyline, and The Rock teased on the Raw after WrestleMania 40 that he would be back for the Undisputed WWE Champion. Rhodes appeared on Vegas Revealed with Dayna Roselli and was asked about a rumor that he would face both Reigns and Rock in a triple threat at the April 2025 show.

“There are so many rumors circulating,” Rhodes said (per Fightful). “It eats up the social feed, all the different rumors of what the matches might be. The hardest thing to do in WWE, sports entertainment, and pro wrestling in general is not to win [the WWE Title], the hardest thing to do is main event WrestleMania. I don’t care what the rumor is, as long as the rumor is I’m in the main event of WrestleMania. I’m good with it.”

He continued, “What I can say for those who keep an eye on the rumor, I bet you what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even to them. Even the people who follow this, the diehards who feel like they have their finger on the pulse, this one is going to be tough. This one is going to be unexpected, is the best way to put it, but in the best of ways.”

The Rock appeared at WWE Bad Blood and stared off with Reigns and Rhodes to close the PPV. No word on when he will be making his return.
