CM Punk on Potentially Facing John Cena One Last Time, Says Cena Deserves ‘Everything He Wants’
– Speaking to Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon, WWE Superstar CM Punk discussed John Cena and potentially facing his former rival one last time during Cena’s upcoming farewell tour. CM Punk said on John Cena (via WrestlingInc.com), “Another guy that I don’t want to talk about because he’s going to do his own thing. And if I’m a part of that, what a fortunate career I’ve had. But John [Cena] deserves everything that he wants. I mean, he calls his own shots, is basically what I’m saying. But yeah, I’d love to get hands on him too.”
CM Punk last wrestled at WWE Bad Blood last month, beating Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match to cap off their feud. John Cena is set to kick off his WWE farewell tour in January 2025. This will include his last matches at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. He will be appearing in WWE throughout the year, with Cena scheduled to hang things up later in December.
